Nobleshand kennels
are situated at Binda NSW in the Southern Tablelands.
Our home & kennels are in a back valley on 150 acres surrounded by beautiful mountains and pastures. Our 6 Collies have freedom to run and bark to their hearts content without restrictions of city life.
I bought my first Collie rough in 1975 from Clanbrown kennels. Bonnie, a 4 year old sable & white bitch who was meant to be a family pet but soon after I went to my first dog show just to watch and ended up buying another Clanbrown show bitch and started on the road to dog showing.
I bred my first litter in 1978 under the prefix of Nobleshand. With a long association with the Clanbrown & Shielmont kennels I owned some top winning bitches including Ch Shielmont Sugar Sugar & Clanbrown Royal Orchid who produced my multi Best in Show winning half sisters Ch Clanbrown Noble Lacey (Emma) and Ch Nobleshand Natural Gold (Sarah). Other Nobleshand collies of distinction include Nobleshand Classic Lad (father of Emma), Ch Nobleshand Nobility, Nobleshand Calamity and Nobleshand Natasha Jot who are behind many top winning kennels to-day.
After nearly going out of Collies due to a marriage breakup the bug “got me” again in 2000, primarily due to encouragement from Bill my new husband. Bill & I are having a lot of enjoyment traveling all over the country side showing our dogs and meeting new friends.
My present Collies are Ch Nobleshand Normandy (Chelsea) daughter of “Sarah” & Wendy Weir’s beautiful tri dog Blacklusset Cold Chisel (Chisel) son of Grand Ch “Spud”, Ch Mavmon Ebonite Dawn (Dawn) & Mavmon Stormchaser (Chase) thanks to Juliet O’Meara of Mavmon Kennels in Victoria, and my two beautiful Cherrylea kids thanks to Jenny Wales of Cherrylea kennels at Binalong NSW, Ch Cherrylea Sports Rebel (Rebel) & Cherrylea Blue Beauty (Megan) and our latest young boy Cheltary Man in Black (Sherman).
